Position Overview:

The Enterprise Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in overseeing the complete application architecture and development lifecycle. This position is essential for converting business needs into operational software systems, services, and solutions tailored to specific domains or application portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive architectural designs that align with industry best practices, including microservices, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures.
  • Collaborate effectively with domain architects, subject matter experts, delivery leads, and product owners to devise timely solutions for business challenges.
  • Enhance non-functional requirements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of software patterns and artifacts, ensuring adherence to sound architectural principles.
  • Provide ongoing support for operations and support teams, including conducting root cause analyses and preventative measures.
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation to uphold system integrity and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in delivering impactful software products.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect, focusing on large-scale enterprise solutions using modern cloud-native technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Proficiency in implementing reusable software components and shared libraries in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python.
  • In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing, and the non-functional aspects of software architecture.
  • Familiarity with InfoSec and DevSecOps principles, particularly using AWS technologies; relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, are highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of advising both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching software developers on system design, code quality, and maintainability.
