What We Seek:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in software development, ideally possessing a strong foundation in software engineering. The ideal candidate will have a successful history of delivering impactful software solutions promptly.

With at least 3 years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale enterprise solutions utilizing contemporary cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS.

Proficiency in creating reusable software components and shared libraries across various programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python is essential. A deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing, and the non-functional aspects of software architecture is crucial.

Knowledge of InfoSec and DevSecOps principles, particularly with AWS technologies, is required. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, are highly valued.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as you will be advising both technical and non-technical stakeholders on engineering topics. You will also mentor and guide software developers in system design, code quality, and maintainability.


Key Responsibilities:

Core Duties:

1. Lead the design of full-stack solutions based on industry best practices, including microservices, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures that promote modular, decoupled, and integrated designs.

2. Collaborate with domain architects, subject matter experts, delivery leads, and product owners to create solutions for business challenges in a timely manner, while providing insights and consultation to software delivery leaders and technical leads across various domains and teams.

3. Enhance non-functional requirements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, performance, availability, and reliability.

4. Spearhead the identification and implementation of software patterns and artifacts (reference architecture, libraries, and reusable frameworks) for common use cases, promoting effective pattern utilization during software development to uphold sound architectural principles and best design practices.

5. Provide support for operations and support teams, including conducting root cause analysis and preventative measures.

6. Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation that aids in sustaining system integrity and facilitates knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

1. Strong software engineering background with over 10 years in full-stack application development.

2. A minimum of 3 years of solid experience as an application or solutions architect.

3. Hands-on coding experience in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.

4. Expertise in AWS Solutions Architect principles.

5. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
