Key responsibilities include supporting factory operations, developing software within the team, and maintaining strong coding capabilities, which are essential for this position. Collaboration with product owners is also a critical aspect of the role.

Experience with AWS is preferred, although familiarity with other cloud platforms is acceptable. There is a significant opportunity for this position to transition into a full-time role, contingent upon performance.



Role Summary:


The Solution Architect will oversee the entire application architecture and development lifecycle, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into operational software systems, services, and solutions across specific domains or application portfolios.

This position demands expertise in full-stack application development, database architecture, and systems implementation, as the architect will be responsible for crafting technical solutions to meet complex business challenges.

The Solution Architect will work closely with both business and engineering stakeholders to convert business requirements into detailed functional, technical, and design specifications for development teams.

Deep technical knowledge in distributed computing, cloud architecture, data/database design, and web application development is essential, along with experience in managing application portfolios. A background in financial systems and relevant domain expertise is advantageous but not mandatory.



Key Qualifications:


1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with a background as a software engineer, demonstrating a successful track record of delivering impactful software products efficiently.

2. At least 3 years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect, delivering enterprise-level solutions using modern cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS.

3. Proven experience in implementing reusable software components and shared libraries for enterprise-wide application in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python.

4. A strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing, and the non-functional aspects of software architecture.

5. Familiarity with InfoSec and DevSecOps principles, particularly using AWS technologies, is essential. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, are highly desirable.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide guidance on engineering topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

7. Experience mentoring and coaching software developers on system design, code quality, and maintainability.



Responsibilities:


1. Lead the design of full-stack solutions based on industry best practices, including microservices, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures that promote modular, decoupled, and integrated designs.

2. Collaborate with domain architects, subject matter experts, delivery leads, and product owners to create timely solutions for business challenges while providing insights and consultation to software delivery leaders and technical leads across various domains.

3. Enhance non-functional requirements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, performance, availability, and reliability.

4. Identify and implement software patterns and artifacts (such as reference architecture, libraries, and reusable frameworks) for common use cases, promoting effective pattern utilization during software development to uphold sound architectural principles.

5. Provide operational support, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.

6. Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to support system integrity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
