The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect, specializing in large-scale enterprise solutions utilizing contemporary cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS.

Proficiency in creating reusable software components and shared libraries for enterprise-wide application in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python is essential.

A comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing, and the non-functional dimensions of software architecture is crucial. Familiarity with InfoSec and DevSecOps principles, particularly with AWS technologies, is required. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, are highly valued.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, enabling the candidate to provide guidance on engineering topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The role also involves mentoring and coaching software developers on system design, code quality, and maintainability.



Key Responsibilities:

Core Duties:

Lead the design of full-stack solutions grounded in industry best practices, including microservices, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures that promote modular, decoupled, and integrated designs.

Collaborate with domain architects, subject matter experts, delivery leads, and product owners to devise solutions for business challenges promptly, while offering insights and guidance to software delivery leaders and technical leads across various domains and teams.

Demonstrate strong experience in enhancing non-functional requirements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, performance, availability, and reliability.

Oversee the identification and implementation of software patterns and artifacts (reference architecture, libraries, and reusable frameworks) for common use cases, advocating for effective pattern utilization during software development to uphold sound architectural principles and good design practices.

Provide support for operations and support teams, including conducting root cause analysis and preventative measures.

Create and maintain thorough architectural documentation that aids in sustaining system integrity and facilitates knowledge sharing.



Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

Robust software engineering background (10+ years) in full-stack application development.

At least 3 years of solid experience as an application or solutions architect.

Hands-on coding experience in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.

Expertise in AWS Solutions Architect principles.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
