QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong mechanical background with diesel, gasoline, and natural gas engines
  • Capable of performing routine maintenance and repairs; major issues will be referred to external services
  • Experience with small engines, agricultural machinery, and heavy equipment is preferred
  • Willingness to operate farm machinery as required
  • Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous
  • Experience in ordering and managing parts inventory

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician for a large, innovative crop producer in Colorado.

We are looking for a hands-on technician to handle the daily maintenance and repairs of various vehicles and machinery, including pickups, tractors, combines, sprayers, and semi-trucks.

The facility boasts excellent amenities and a well-equipped shop. We need a dedicated technician experienced in both diesel and gasoline engine repairs. Ideally, candidates should have experience with small engines as well as large agricultural and heavy equipment. Proficiency in brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication is essential.

The individual in this role will be responsible for sourcing parts and managing the parts inventory, as well as planning the workflow of equipment through the shop during both peak and off-peak seasons.

We are looking for someone who is familiar with interpreting service manuals and parts manuals, and who possesses a solid overall mechanical aptitude. When circumstances permit, the technician should be willing to assist with farm operations. This is a great environment for family life. Colorado Front Range.
