We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and assist our teams in managing documentation and the utilization of raw materials. We offer competitive benefits, including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and more. This position involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage shipping and receiving operations.
  2. Ensure the accurate completion of all related documentation (e.g., receiving reports, shipping reports, transfer reports).
  3. Prepare products for production processes.
  4. Conduct thorough audits of raw materials and supplies.
  5. Demonstrate flexibility in hours and workflow.
  6. Implement FIFO practices for cooler and freezer items.
  7. Accurately track the consumption of raw materials and packaging.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to engage physically in daily warehouse operations within a frozen food setting.
  2. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of effective management.
  3. Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions.
  5. Competence in computer usage, mathematics, and organizational tasks.
  6. Forklift operation experience is essential.
  7. Willingness to learn relevant USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Ability to maintain timely and appropriate communication with team members.
  10. Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Physical Demands:

  1. Regular walking throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and occasionally using a ladder.
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  3. Capability to bend, squat, sit, and stand as needed.
  4. Ability to stand for extended periods.
  5. Comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments.

Workplace Standards:

Employees are expected to meet or exceed production goals regarding yields, waste, and time management. Compliance with food safety and good manufacturing practices is mandatory.

Dress Code: Adherence to GMP standards is required. Employees must wear hairnets, beard nets, and uniforms. Jewelry, watches, piercings, false nails, and nail polish are not permitted. Attire must be appropriate, with no holes or inappropriate lengths.

Attendance: Consistent attendance is a critical job requirement.

Safety Compliance: Employees must follow all company safety protocols.

General Expectations: Team members are expected to work towards achieving company objectives and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Language Proficiency: Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively in both one-on-one and small group settings is required.
