POSITION SUMMARY:

LaForce is seeking a dedicated Logistics Support Representative to facilitate the management, solutions, and coordination of materials from their origin to the final destination, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track ordered materials with suppliers to confirm shipping timelines.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure in-house materials are completed and ready for shipment as scheduled.
  • Keep Sales and Engineering teams updated on any potential delays affecting the production schedule due to material arrivals.
  • Generate internal work orders to manage the shipment of contractual hardware.
  • Process freight claims for any materials damaged during transit by third-party carriers.
  • Assist customers in tracking the shipping status of their orders from LaForce.
  • Verify and confirm the delivery of orders to customers.
Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
