Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Business Operations to lead our operations team. This role requires a strong understanding of defense-related security requirements and regulations, as well as the ability to build and lead diverse, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Plan, budget, and efficiently scale the company's operations across human resources, recruiting, facilities, office administration, and security teams.
Optimize operational processes across departments to ensure smooth and secure operations, with a focus on supporting the company's rapid growth and security requirements.
Oversee recruitment and development of world-class teams, fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and collaboration across all teams.
Manage and optimize physical office spaces to accommodate growth, including overseeing facility expansion and operationalization and sustainment of secure facilities, ensuring the physical security of offices and adherence to industry security standards.
Lead initiatives to meet security requirements and compliance with defense-related regulations, working closely with legal, HR, and security teams to ensure a safe, compliant work environment in line with government standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business operations, ideally within the defense or technology industries.
Proven track record of scaling operations within a fast-growing start-up, including managing multi-location facilities and growing employee headcount rapidly.
Strong understanding of defense-related security requirements and regulations, with experience in creating a compliant and secure operational environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to build and lead diverse, cross-functional teams, and create alignment across departments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to maintain productive relationships with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners or regulatory bodies.
Experience in driving operational efficiency and using data to inform process improvements and scalability
