Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Abacus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing hands-on technical support to internal users, with a focus on resolving complex issues related to computer hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to computer users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Outlook Email.
- Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software installations.
- Monitor and maintain helpdesk ticket systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication with users.
- Collaborate with third-party support vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and deliver training materials and procedures to support users in the proper use of hardware and software.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, with a focus on hands-on technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Outlook Email.
- Experience with helpdesk ticket systems and software installation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Directory support experience.
- Computer certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA.
Work Schedule:
The ideal candidate must be local to Atlanta and able to work in the office daily.
