Business Development Manager

Hays Recruitment is partnering with a leading commercial cleaning and facilities management services company to find an experienced Business Development Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the janitorial space, and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. They will be responsible for bringing in new business, increasing revenue and market share, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business and increase revenue and market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with optimal terms and conditions

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, especially in the janitorial space
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of the facilities management market and trends
  • Experience in selling on an aggregate vs self-performing model
