The Customer Service division manages all client inquiries, order processing, and generates daily reports while collaborating closely with various departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer needs.


Job Overview:

  • Managing cross-dock operations
  • Handling product holds and addressing urgent customer shipments
  • Confirming inventory levels and alerting clients of possible shortages
  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipments along with applicable charges
  • Processing inventory holds and releases
  • Responding to phone inquiries
  • Investigating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&Ds) and compiling reports
  • Recording inbound and outbound orders
  • Timely input of orders for scheduled shipments
  • Adjusting logs and making necessary modifications
  • Addressing customer inquiries
  • Reporting on processing times
  • Ensuring electronic transactions are executed without issues
  • Managing import and export tasks
  • Promptly executing Trace requests
Cross-training for shipping office responsibilities for weekend rotation

Qualifications:
Education

  • High School Diploma preferred
Experience

  • 1 to 3 years preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in PC usage, leadership, and organizational skills beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse documentation preferred.
