Student Services Coordinator

About the Role:
This position performs a variety of duties to support the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices (OSARP) within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain at least 10 scheduled office hours per week.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices, its mission and its outcomes, and to the value statements of the Division of Student Affairs and the University.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act regarding the non-disclosure of educational records; maintain confidentiality of other sensitive information.
- Attend staff training prior to commencement of duties; participate in ongoing training and professional development including but not limited to Education Programs Unit Staff Meetings, All Staff Meetings, and additional professional development.
- Assess professional progress and receive feedback through weekly or biweekly meetings with supervisor and semester meetings with Associate Director of Case Management; Participate in formal staff evaluation processes.
- Provide administrative support for Case Management as needed.
- Provide customer service to students, parents, staff, faculty, and federal agents.
- Provide support by copying, typing, and running errands as necessary.
- Assist with reviewing files and data entry and management.
- Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail, dependability, confidentiality, and punctuality are essential attributes for this position.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing and eligible for Federal Work Study in order to be considered.
Conditions of Employment:
- Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
- Students must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
- E-Verify Notice: After accepting employment, new hires are required to complete an I-9 form and present documentation of their identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
