Core Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Conducting work with a high degree of independence, requiring the evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrating full competency in most job aspects.
- Managing projects of significant complexity.
- Potentially leading a team of engineers and support personnel.


Required Qualifications:


Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, along with 10 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred:
- Previous experience in heavy civil construction.

Additional Information:
Qualified candidates who receive an offer must successfully complete a pre-employment substance abuse screening.

The salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $145,000 annually, based on experience and/or education.


Shimmick offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage (with a NO-COST option), dental, and vision insurance; as well as opportunities to participate in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

The Company also provides employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), basic life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional voluntary benefits include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal services, and identity theft protection.

These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week.

Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as EAP services.
