Job Summary:

The Senior Information Security Service Specialist at Loma Linda University Medical Center leads in the management of information security controls to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. This role involves designing, engineering, implementing, and operating preventive, detective, and corrective security solutions across the technology stack. The specialist participates in cyber threat analysis and develops controls to counter identified threats. This position provides services for all LLUH entities and requires a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of four years of information security experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated working knowledge of information security risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices. They will also have advanced technical operational knowledge and design and implementation skills for security solutions across the infrastructure technology stack. The successful candidate will be able to use project planning software, spreadsheets, and word processing software, and will have excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills. They will also be able to organize technical work, demonstrate excellent planning, problem-solving, analysis, documentation, presentation, and organization skills, and analyze and interpret data, processes, and needs based on limited information. Additionally, they will be able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone, think critically, work independently, and perform basic math and statistical functions. A valid driver's license is required at the time of hire, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent professional certification is required within two years of hire. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
