Job Summary:

The EHR Application Specialist 3 is responsible for the ongoing design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of mission-critical applications in a healthcare setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Independently interact with clients, demonstrate superior critical thinking, and follow through skills when developing solutions to identified issues.


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field required. Minimum four years of experience in healthcare, information technology, or a related field required. Minimum four years of experience with Epic or other healthcare systems is preferred.


Skills and Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of clinical or business/revenue cycle workflow in healthcare. Ability to read, write legibly, speak in English with professional quality, and use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position. Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools.


Licensures and Certifications:

Certification in a minimum of one primary EPIC application is required. Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
