Information Security Specialist

Job Summary:
The Information Security Specialist participates in the management of information security controls that preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information at Loma Linda University Health.
Supports the operation of preventive, detective, and corrective security solutions across the technology stack.
Participates in cyber threat analysis and the development of controls to counter identified threats.
These services are provided for all LLUH entities.
Demonstrated working knowledge of information security risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Able to use project planning software, spreadsheets, and word processing software; input data, typing, copying, and effective use of the telephone.
speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS project, Access, etc).
demonstrate excellent planning, problem-solving, analysis, documentation, presentation, and organization skills; analyze and interpret data, processes, and needs based on limited information; Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; compose written material; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
