We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Three Rivers Health Center. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide evidence-based treatment to adults and adolescents, with the ability to make dual diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed counseling services to clients.
- Determine the level of treatment needed for each patient and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and provide interventions based on their needs.
- Participate in case staffing and supervision sessions, and collaborate with the clinical treatment team.
- Maintain progress notes and other documentation required for the patient electronic medical record (EMR).
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- One year of combined experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines relating to alcohol, drug, and mental health counseling.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress and crisis situations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
