Bay Area Hospital is seeking a qualified mental health professional to join our team. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family/caregiver needs with respect to patient's psychosocial health. You will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy, and create and supervise an interdisciplinary rehabilitation plan.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient and family/caregiver needs and develop a plan to meet those needs.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to patients.
- Create and supervise an interdisciplinary rehabilitation plan.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
- Strong group skills and knowledge of cognitive behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy theories, principles, and practices.
- Effective problem-solving skills, effective teaching skills, and knowledge of community resources and how to access them.
- Able to integrate care from a variety of sources to meet patient's needs and work flexible schedules.
Requirements:
- Meets the criteria for practicing as a Qualified Mental Health Professional in the state of Oregon.
- Ability to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Safe class or organization-approved workplace violence training or obtain within 6 months of hire.
