Position Overview: The Nurse Director of Behavioral Health is a highly visible position with responsibility for managing the inpatient behavioral health program. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the inpatient behavioral health program to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

* Collaborate with hospital administration and clinical staff to implement best practices and innovative treatment approaches.

* Develop and oversee departmental budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.

* Engage in community outreach to promote behavioral health services and enhance program visibility.

* Mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with active Oregon RN licensure preferred; BSN required.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a successful and profitable adult inpatient behavioral health program.

* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of current behavioral health best practices and regulatory requirements.
