Job Overview

Square Peg Technologies is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools, as well as familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop automated pipelines for various data types and datasets
  • Work closely with data science and business intelligence teams to develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning
  • Be an advocate for best practices and continued learning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data science workflows and add value to our product offering
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, specifically RedShift and RDS
  • Strong communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leaders
