Job Description

Serves as a key member of our software production and data engineering team at DCI Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, operate, and maintain high-performance services for platforms and products.
  • Write code to build and maintain enterprise data integration pipelines.
  • Improve existing systems and processes.
  • Work closely with engineers to advocate and participate in systems design.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues.
  • Handle support and operations of software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, upgrades, and rollout of new products.
  • Perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
  • Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure.
  • Reduce manual operations and automate processes, runbooks, and/or workflows.
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field).
  • 3+ years of experience with software production engineering and data engineering.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Web Services, on-premises servers, Python, Java, Bash, Puppet, Typescript/Java Script.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Prometheus and Grafana, Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
  • DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification (Linux+, Redhat Certified System Administrator, COMPTIA Server+).
  • Active DoD Top-Secret Clearance with CI Polygraph.
