Job Title: Data Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to support a 5-year program supporting a federal agency. This opportunity will upgrade your TS/SCI clearance to a CI Polygraph. The Data Specialist will collaborate with a team of developers on data integration requirements. This position is on-site 4 days/week and remote 1 day/week and can be based out of Elkridge - Maryland, JBAB DC, or Reston - VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain low-code Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) platforms to facilitate data transfers and transformations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect data, add features to the ETL platform, integrate software into the system, and validate data ingests.
  • Support high-volume data transfers, provide documentation of system architecture, development, and enhancements.
  • Assist with data warehouse and data lakes, and engineering work.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience with data engineering/governance.
  • Experience with Linux, programming languages (Python, PHP, C#, Java), and the cloud preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to sit for a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ETL Data ingestion, integration, or transformation.
  • Experience with Ruby or Python.
  • Experience with cloud integration.
Compensation:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
