Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Consultant is responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses, projections, and strategic planning to support the decision-making processes within the International Operations Team. This role plays a crucial part in assisting business partners with the management of supply chain expenses through effective forecasting and the execution of ad hoc analyses, as well as spearheading process enhancement initiatives through long-term projects. Proficiency in SQL is essential for this position. The Senior Financial Consultant will engage with extensive data sets and analytical tools. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, data exploration and validation, generating monthly and ad hoc reports for leadership, managing forecast contributions, addressing inquiries from business partners, and providing supply chain-related assistance to other Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 25% Manage the implementation of financial policies.
  • 25% Conduct specialized financial research and collaborate with various departments to prepare statistical analyses.
  • 25% Execute internal and external economic research and evaluate issues related to specific financial metrics to maintain competitiveness.
  • 5% Compile and prepare reports, graphs, and charts based on developed data.
  • 10% Suggest modifications to financial analysis techniques or procedures.
  • 10% Mentor and oversee Financial Analysts in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
Reporting Structure:
  • This position typically reports to a Director or Senior Director.
  • Requires advanced interpersonal skills for managing sensitive or contentious situations.
  • Often encounters unstructured scenarios that necessitate innovative solutions.
  • Considers new methodologies within established policies and short-term objectives when addressing challenges.
  • Once provided with general assignments, determines priorities and outlines necessary actions.
Travel Requirements:
  • Generally requires minimal overnight travel, less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily involves sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities for movement. Occasionally, there may be a need to lift or move light items.
Working Environment:
  • Positioned in a comfortable indoor setting, with infrequent exposure to unpleasant conditions.
  • Under constant pressure to meet tight deadlines and demanding targets, while regularly managing challenging situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL is required.

  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent in a relevant field.
