Job Overview - Claims Resolution Specialist

As a Claims Resolution Specialist at Progressive Insurance, you will be the primary liaison for clients, guiding them through the intricacies of the claims process from initiation to conclusion.

Your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of claims independently, collaborating closely with repair facilities and other stakeholders to negotiate pricing and assess liability.

Key Attributes: Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, effective conflict resolution skills, and a keen eye for detail, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This position is field-based, providing you with a company vehicle and requiring regular travel within your designated region. Teamwork is essential, as you may also be tasked with assignments beyond your immediate area. Occasional office reporting may be necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle assessments, generate estimates, evaluate total loss situations, and establish clear expectations and timelines.
  • Negotiate repair terms with auto body shops.
  • Document all claim-related information and make informed decisions in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee claim payments and resolve issues related to claims without payments.
  • Review and validate any additional requests for claims.
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including at least one year in appraisal or insurance.
  • Alternatively, an Associate's degree combined with three years of relevant experience, including one year in appraisal or insurance.
  • Or, a Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience in appraisal or insurance.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance, adhering to Progressive's driving policies.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $69,000 to $85,000 annually, with the potential for a Gainshare bonus of up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
