Position Overview
As a Tax Resolution Specialist, you will engage in providing expert consulting services for various federal tax groups, including audits, collection issues, and resolution services.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting services related to federal audits and tax resolution.
- Assist in managing and executing client IRS projects, including audits, appeals, and penalty abatement.
- Review and analyze client data to prepare necessary documentation and IRS filings.
- Communicate effectively with IRS staff regarding client projects.
- Oversee client deadlines and coordinate workflow among internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in professional associations and forums to enhance knowledge and networking.

Qualifications
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Possession of a valid Enrolled Agent (EA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles and federal/state payroll laws.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), QuickBooks, and various software applications.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
