Role Summary:
In Colorado, where hail events are prevalent, the demand for public adjusters is significant, yet the supply is limited. As a Bilingual Insurance Claims Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage property damage claims, perform adjustments, and liaise with insurance providers. Your daily responsibilities will include evaluating property damage, documenting and submitting claims, reaching out to residential and commercial properties, and ensuring prompt resolution of claims. We are looking for a bilingual candidate eager to assist the Greater Denver Area. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in sales while positively impacting homeowners' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with homeowners needing assistance with insurance claims, particularly Spanish-speaking households, using provided leads.
- Inform homeowners about their rights and options to maximize their insurance settlements.
- Conduct canvassing in neighborhoods and small businesses to support insurable claims.
- Perform property inspections to evaluate damages, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Analyze insurance policies, clarifying coverage terms and exclusions.
- Represent homeowners in negotiations with insurance company representatives to secure fair settlements.
- Offer continuous support and guidance to homeowners throughout the claims process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in door-to-door sales is preferred.
- Experience in property claims or the insurance sector is advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and compassion for homeowners facing property damage.
- Willingness to learn and enhance sales skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management abilities.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
