Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in handling, negotiating, and resolving complex third-party commercial general liability and automobile bodily injury and property damage claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Handling and Negotiation: Handle, negotiate, and resolve third-party commercial general liability and automobile bodily injury and property damage claims in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Investigations and Analysis: Verify coverage, interpret policies and contracts, and conduct thorough liability investigations to ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.
  • Claim Authorization and Negotiation: Manage claim authorization and negotiate complex claims, ensuring that all parties are informed and satisfied with the outcome.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with outside defense counsel in managing litigation processes and communicate clearly with customers and relevant external parties.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document all key activities, contacts, statements, and details necessary for claim resolution, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years of multi-line experience, including handling high-severity bodily injury claims.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a current Texas claims adjuster license; additional licenses are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong negotiation and settlement skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000
  • Eligible for Annual Discretionary Bonus
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k), and Profit-Sharing plans.
