Job OverviewPosition: Lead Auto Claims Resolution Specialist
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Lead Auto Claims Resolution Specialist, your primary duties will include:
  • Managing, negotiating, and settling third-party commercial general liability and automobile injury and property damage claims.
  • Assessing coverage, interpreting policies and agreements, and performing comprehensive liability investigations.
  • Analyzing and negotiating claims in accordance with company guidelines and state laws.
  • Overseeing the investigative process while maintaining clear communication with clients and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Recording all significant activities, communications, statements, and details essential for claim resolution.
  • Exhibiting familiarity with medical terminology, treatments, and injury descriptions.
  • Collaborating efficiently with external defense attorneys in managing litigation processes.
  • Assessing potential exposures under the policy to establish timely and adequate reserves.
  • Overseeing claim authorization and negotiating complex claims.
  • Possibly providing testimony or being deposed in claims negotiations or court proceedings.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of diverse experience, including managing high-severity bodily injury claims.
  • Possession of a current Texas claims adjuster license; additional licenses are advantageous.
  • Required experience in litigation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred experience across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of Contractual Risk Transfer concepts and anti-indemnity regulations.
  • Exceptional negotiation and settlement capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong capacity for active listening.
  • Dedication to high standards of customer service.
  • Ability to employ a win-win strategy to resolve disputes and promote open dialogue.
  • Accountability for personal actions and the ability to hold others accountable.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k), and Profit-Sharing plans.
The actual salary will be determined by factors such as the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
