Patient Access Representative

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to perform all admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration of patients presenting to Admissions and/or outpatient areas for treatment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient access to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and secure all demographic and financial patient registration information.
- Perform registration, pre-registration, government and non-government insurance verification, eligibility verification, Workers Compensation eligibility, and securing cash deposits.
- Demonstrate superior customer service through all personal and professional interactions with all customers within the Cedars-Sinai Health System.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred.
- Two (2) years of healthcare experience working in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle department, physician office, healthcare insurance company, and/or other revenue cycle related roles required.
