Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder in Morrisville, North Carolina. As a Senior Level Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance and repair procedures
Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
