About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests, assist with check-in, and provide a welcoming experience.
  • Help promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and showing support in their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
  • Perform membership-related functions, such as sign-ups, contact information updates, cancellations, and collecting unpaid balances.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free.
  • Perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas to address safety, policy, and cleanliness concerns.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks.
  • Continual communicating in person or on the phone to exchange information.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
