Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service to our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with the check-in and check-out processes, issuing room keys, and processing payments. Additionally, the Front Desk Agent will maintain communication with housekeeping staff to coordinate room availability, answer guest inquiries, and complete paperwork promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain knowledge of hotel operations and activities
- Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person
- Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation and open-ended questions
- Describe the features and amenities of guest rooms
- Ensure compliance with health and quality standards
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
- Able to lift 30 pounds
