About the Role:

Astrix, a prominent contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), is in search of a Project Manager to enhance their dynamic team. This position offers a unique chance to play a pivotal role in the advancement and commercialization of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing and CMC development initiatives from inception through technology transfer and process refinement to ensure seamless transition to the production team.
  • Formulate and implement project strategies and financial plans under the guidance of the VP of CDMO Project Management.
  • Support the technology transfer and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) along with other relevant project documentation.
  • Engage in preliminary radiolabeling, quality control testing, and troubleshooting for novel products.
  • Facilitate the training and internal transition of projects to production and quality assurance teams.
  • Maintain essential project management tools, including issue tracking lists and Gantt charts.
  • Collaborate effectively with client teams and internal departments such as production, quality, and finance.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical sector and/or 2-3 years of project management experience in other areas of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in GMP settings.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.); an advanced scientific degree is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated individual with robust problem-solving capabilities and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment during method development and transfer processes.
  • Team-oriented individual with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Practical experience with fundamental project management methodologies and software tools.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to management and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) and familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong technical writing proficiency.
