Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily operational functions and overall efficiency of the boutique. Your focus will be on refining and optimizing processes that enhance both the employee and customer experience.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the Boutique Director.

  • Achieve or surpass all operational objectives and key performance indicators established by the corporate team.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all shipments, transfers, online orders, and returns on a daily basis.
  • Work in partnership with the Store Director to implement daily operational responsibilities.
  • Evaluate operational workflows and performance metrics, proposing enhancements to boost store efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate and clarify operational directives to the sales team, delegating relevant tasks related to store maintenance and inventory management.
  • Maintain consistent oversight of stock levels, lead monthly inventory counts, and conduct annual physical inventory in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversee all supply ordering and administrative tasks related to store operations.
  • Ensure the boutique is consistently clean and that all equipment is fully functional.
  • Guarantee that all opening and closing procedures are executed promptly, assisting with point-of-sale closing as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication with the corporate office in collaboration with the Store Director.
  • Support the sales team on the floor with merchandise management, effective supervision, and processing customer transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities with both team members and clients.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • A strong desire for intellectual growth and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Ability to analyze business operations and implement actions that drive results.
  • Capability to lift or manage merchandise and packages, typically weighing between 0-40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure optimal store operations.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of a 40-hour work week.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management, and inventory management software.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Retail Management or Operations Management.
