Chief of Staff Job Description

The Chief of Staff role at New England Federal Credit Union will report directly to the VP of HR, supporting the Chief People Officer and leading critical cross-functional projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring the CPO is prepared and focused on the highest impact strategic initiatives for the credit union.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner and lead human resources initiatives to design and execute optimal workflows, ensure appropriate organization, and align internal processes.
  • Own the management of initiatives and programs from end to end, ensuring the right audiences receive the right information at the right time.
  • Gain buy-in with key stakeholders and ensure compliance with team member participation in programs and requirements.
  • Communicate priorities, activities, and results to Leadership and the larger organization, while ensuring deliverables are met.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years' experience in combination of operations, product management, program management, strategy, banking, operations, consulting, or an equivalent field.
  • Past experience in managing resourcing/staffing and having worked directly with the C-suite on a regular basis.
  • Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to collaborate well with peers and executives, and able to lead and influence across multiple levels and multiple functions of an organization.
