Job Summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking an accomplished nephrologist to lead as Network Division Chief for Nephrology. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a vibrant division committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
  • Work closely with the Department of Medicine Chair to advance division, departmental, and multidisciplinary initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical care, education, and research.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to advance the mission of the University of Vermont Health Network.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to faculty at all stages of career development.
Requirements
  • MD degree (or equivalent).
  • Board certified in Nephrology.
  • Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor (Tenure or Clinical Scholar Pathway) will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting.
  • Strong track record of mentoring faculty at all stages of career development.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Nephrology.
