Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture detailed images of patients for diagnostic evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize MRI technology to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for medical analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Radiology and Imaging Services Director to ensure optimal patient care through effective imaging practices.
  • Conduct patient studies following established protocols, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Manage imaging equipment, inputting necessary commands and adjusting settings to achieve the best diagnostic results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Monitor patient safety throughout the imaging process, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Provide training and orientation for new staff and students in MRI procedures.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of continuous experience as an MRI Technologist, demonstrating proficiency in all essential duties.
  • Valid licensure in the required state.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively present information in various settings.
  • Experience in a clinical environment, preferably with two years in a hospital setting.
