Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Role Overview: As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist the marketing manager in driving initiatives that enhance service line visibility and engagement.

Your responsibilities will also encompass fostering community partnerships, managing sponsorships, and organizing events.

In addition, you will oversee the production of photo and video content for the medical group, assist in managing the external website, and collaborate with the West Florida Division team on social media strategies and campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the creation and distribution of all physician marketing materials, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the development of web and social media content strategies related to physicians.
  • Monitor the return on investment (ROI) for all marketing efforts and implement tracking systems. Adjust market plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Physician Liaison and hospital partners to create marketing materials tailored to physicians, including promotional items and print materials.
  • Assist in planning and executing events.
  • Support the marketing manager in managing paid media campaigns, ensuring timely submissions to local publications and digital platforms.
  • Facilitate strategic community partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Organize and manage community and campus events, maintaining the hospital's event calendar and aligning activities with key service lines and marketing strategies.
  • Develop content for various collateral materials, internal and external websites, press releases, and social media platforms.
  • Oversee content management on the external website, acting as the primary contact for web inquiries and issues.
  • Work with the WFD social media manager to create content for social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while monitoring engagement and addressing inquiries in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborate on blogs, social media posts, and other external communications.
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing a variety of communications tailored to different contexts, audiences, and purposes.
  • Fundamental understanding of marketing, communications, and public relations.
  • Strong collaborative abilities, with the capacity to work independently and within a team structure.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, able to implement initiatives strategically with minimal oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, public relations, or communications.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
