Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and execution of responses to project solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, LOIs, etc.) within a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Take charge of proposal production and coordination as designated.
  • Develop and manage proposal timelines and compliance checklists.
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical subject matter experts to formulate targeted messaging, winning themes, and unique selling propositions.
  • Coordinate efforts with subcontractors and other partners.
  • Build and maintain regional proposal resources, including resumes and project summaries.
  • Regularly check for new project solicitations on relevant platforms.
  • Maintain and submit prequalification documentation.
  • Conduct thorough quality control reviews for proposals prepared by other Marketing Specialists, ensuring adherence to style guidelines, accuracy of data, and compliance.
  • Assist with client management initiatives, industry participation, and other business development activities as required.
  • Manage the company database, tracking opportunities, clients, and contacts.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with procurement and pre-qualification processes.
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and deadline-oriented, demonstrating outstanding follow-through.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as English, marketing, communications, technical editing, or writing) is preferred.
  • Over five years of experience in proposal development within the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) sector is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator) is advantageous.
