Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Layout Specialist to join our team at Christman Mid-Atlantic Constructors. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for collaborative planning and problem-solving, as well as a commitment to building solid partnerships to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, set up, and maintain layout control for construction projects
  • Establish building corners and reference points for accurate building location
  • Verify elevations and alignments for various structural elements
  • Perform quality checks during concrete pours and slab installations
  • Assist in coordinating drawings and verifying accuracy
  • Maintain project records and documentation
Work Environment

The majority of work will be done on construction sites, where you will oversee daily activities and make critical decisions. Protective gear is required, and exposure to various weather conditions is expected.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with occasional extended hours and weekend work.

Travel

Minimal travel may be required, with potential overnight stays depending on the project.

Physical Demands

Physical requirements include sitting, walking, reaching, kneeling, and using hands to operate equipment. Some lifting of objects may be necessary.

Requirements
  • Three years of experience in Building Layout
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of construction practices and materials
  • Experience with construction project management software

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
