Position Summary:

As an Armed Security Professional at Extrity Services, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our clients and their properties. Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, and/or Regional Manager, you will execute security protocols, oversee activities, and address incidents with professionalism and precision. Your contributions are essential in maintaining Extrity Services' commitment to excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the company’s dress code and uphold a professional appearance.
  • Exhibit punctuality by arriving on time for assigned shifts.
  • Interact courteously and professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Enforce access control measures and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor and report on the functionality of security equipment.
  • Respond swiftly to security incidents, adhering to established protocols.
  • Operate a Gator (cart) for patrolling duties.
  • Supervise onsite recreational activities.
  • Assist in investigations by providing timely and accurate information.
  • Prepare truthful and timely documentation, including incident and shift reports.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid and clear TN Armed security license.
  • Experience in conducting patrols, surveillance, and managing security incidents.
  • Familiarity with security equipment and its proper use; experience in educational settings is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor with a personable and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of emergency protocols and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Knowledge of access control procedures and identification verification.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures (not mandatory).
  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
