Position Overview:
As a Security Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our workforce and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security needs and assisting associates with safety-related concerns.

Shift Details:
This position operates on a second shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends with two consecutive days off during the week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and screen all visitors entering the facilities, providing necessary information.
- Enforce company security and life safety policies.
- Respond to emergency situations, including workplace violence, medical emergencies, and alarm notifications.
- Patrol the premises to ensure physical security and safety for all associates.
- Write initial reports for incidents and conduct follow-up investigations as needed.
- Maintain access control for associates using a card key system.
- Assist with regular inspections of safety equipment and systems.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; a bachelor’s or technical degree is preferred.
- At least one year of relevant security experience.
- Knowledge of corporate safety and security practices, including the operation of firearms and security systems.

Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and de-escalate situations effectively.
- Physical capability to perform assigned duties, including walking, running, and lifting.

Working Conditions:
This role requires availability for after-hours work, weekends, and holidays as necessary for emergency situations.
