Job Overview
As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and patients within the Medical Center Complex and associated facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting regular patrols and monitoring of the premises.
  • Investigating incidents and communicating any security concerns.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for security-related inquiries.
  • Operating security vehicles and maintaining fixed posts.
  • Enforcing facility rules and regulations.
  • Assisting local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Providing support in managing challenging situations, including patient escorts and emergency lockout services.

Qualifications Required
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • Preferred certification or vocational training in security.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 2-4 years preferred.
  • A valid Ohio Driver's License.

All selected candidates will undergo a psychological evaluation and are required to complete a probationary period upon employment.
