Job Summary

A Security Specialist plays a vital role in safeguarding the assets and personnel of Alliance Data by minimizing risk and ensuring overall safety and security at assigned locations. This is a highly interactive position in a fast-paced environment that values our security team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Life Safety - Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and controlling/permitting entry for associates and non-associates.
  • Associate Engagement - Provide excellent customer service to our associates, clients, and guests as an important ambassador of Alliance Data's unique culture.
  • Emergency Management - Render first-responder services to all emergencies and incidents within the scope of your training, escalating emergencies outside your training to Police, Fire, or Emergency Medical Services.
  • Administrative - Prepare incident reports, manage access control, video surveillance, emergency response, communications, and other systems, and answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Technology - Monitor environmental, building, and equipment controls and report irregularities, respond to system alarms according to procedure.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Certification: obtain and/or maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days of employment
  • Two or more years in Security Operations, Law Enforcement, Military, or Customer Service Industry
