We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to become part of our Laboratory sales team in the Baltimore/DC region. This division is one of the fastest-growing segments within the largest privately held medical supply manufacturer and distributor. The focus of this role will be on the acute care hospital market, supporting our field sales team as specialists in all laboratory products and services within the designated territory. This position reports to the acute care sales manager in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with all departments within the hospital laboratory
  • Driving sales growth across all laboratory product categories
  • Collaborating with acute care representatives and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) market directors in your region
  • Delivering sales presentations for Laboratory Consumables and Capital Equipment
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and manufacturer representatives
  • Meeting established sales growth targets
  • Developing a consistent call cycle with key decision-makers
  • Managing and nurturing existing business while introducing new products to expand market share
  • Conducting extensive cold calling and prospecting for new account opportunities
  • Managing your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset and a franchise approach

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of quota-driven sales experience, demonstrating proficiency in cold calling and full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of quota-driven sales experience with similar qualifications

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Proven track record of sales growth and meeting quotas
  • Ability to present multiple product lines effectively
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Stable employment history
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in laboratory consumables and capital equipment sales is preferred
  • Due to the nature of this outside sales role, the ability to drive and travel extensively is required.

Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, ongoing education and training, and significant potential within a growing global organization.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $68,000 and $99,320 annually. This range is an estimate, and actual salaries may vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is eligible for bonuses and/or incentives. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefits package includes health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and more for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For those working fewer than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions and access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Corp.
