At Medline Industries, we are seeking a talented sales professional to join our Laboratory sales team in the Baltimore/DC territory. As a sales specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth on all lab product categories, collaborating with acute care reps and IDN market directors, and establishing and nurturing customer and manufacturer rep relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the laboratory consumables and capital equipment market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including hospital lab directors, managers, and staff
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to identify business opportunities and develop solutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers and prospects
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
  • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment
  • Ability to present multiple product lines
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer proficiency especially MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Previous laboratory consumables and capital equipment sales experience preferred

Anticipated Salary Range

$68,320.00 - $99,320.00 Annual

This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
