About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Photonics Engineer to lead our laser product development team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system architecture, photonics, and project management.

Job Description
  • Define NPI (New Product Introduction) system architectures, design-oriented elements, including specifications, product/design FMEAs, DFX, qualification plans, drawings, test requirements, etc.
  • Manage complex tradeoffs that span multiple functional areas to realize the best possible product
  • Focus on all technical details of products – ranging from initial designs to volume production issues to end of life management.
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Physics, Systems Engineering, Optical Engineering, Quantum Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
  • 5 years of commercial/industrial laser industry experience
  • Program and Project Management competency
