About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Group Protection Sales Distribution Team, supporting Workplace Solutions in the Atlanta area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain business relationships with groups in the assigned territory to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, or objectives.
  • Work with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, Plan Sponsors, and Participants to increase sales revenue and market share in offering our ancillary products.
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned territory and products, assessing impacts, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of LFG's products, services, and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities.
  • Provide education, information, training, and advice on Lincoln's products and services to assigned stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain business relationships through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in a customer-centric and professional demeanor.
  • Develop and execute basic plans to increase/gain opportunities to introduce Lincoln's products/services, management, and other resources to stakeholders.
  • Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality.
Requirements
  • 4-year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Licenses required upon hire
