Job Summary

Healthcare Support is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to fill a local pharmacy contract position in Massachusetts. This 12-week opportunity will provide 38 hours of work per week, with an 8-hour evening shift from Monday to Friday.

About the Role

This position involves supporting the delivery of clinical services at a local pharmacy. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. Your role will involve administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with patients, as well as providing support with medication management and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and responding to patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide support with medication therapy management and patient education
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred
