Transportation Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Van/Bus Monitor position at Old Colony YMCA is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of children from childcare programs to their homes. Working collaboratively with drivers, family support staff, and childcare staff, the successful candidate will act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and ensure the needs of children and families are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with drivers and childcare staff to ensure safe and efficient transportation of children.
- Act as a liaison between Family Support, Childcare, and parents to facilitate communication and address needs.
- Work under the direction of the Senior Program Director to ensure the successful transition of children from childcare programs to their homes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Two years' experience working with children preferred.
- Able to lift 30 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the job.
